2012 Tellurian GSM Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre

A blend of 56% Grenache, 25% Shiraz and 19% Mourvedre with maturation taking place in seasoned French oak barriques for 10 months. Deep dark red colour with dark crimson red hue. Nosing reveals scents of dark raspberry and dark plum as top notes over nuances of subtle liquorice, earth and spice. Light to medium weight the palate possesses flavours of ripe black raspberries and plum followed by some earthiness with a very spicy peppery back palate. Dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black raspberry, earth and spicy pepper.
