2012 Swings and Roundabouts Backyard Stories Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black crimson colour with a bright dark crimson red hue. The nose has excellent aromatics with scents of blackcurrant and dark mulberries followed by some vanillin cedar, tobacco and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses ripe blackcurrant and mulberry flavours over some vanillin cedar and spicy tobacco. The tannins assert their presence in a typical Cabernet Sauvignon manner but are still very fine grained. Good depth with a long blackcurrant, mulberry, vanillin cedar and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
