2012 St. Mary's House Block Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black crimson colour with a deep dark crimson red hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant aromas intermixed with spearmint are followed by cigar box, a hint of bay leaf and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses excellent richness and structure with mouthfilling flavours of blackcurrant infused with spearmint over a background of spicy cedar, faint earth and bay leaf. Dryish finish with solidly constructed but fine grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of blackcurrant, spearmint, spicy cedar and faint earth.
