2012 St. Hallett The Reward Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque inky black colour with a very deep dark crimson red black hue. Nosing reveals aromas of ripe blackcurrants and dark chocolate over a background of cedary tobacco characters and spice end notes. Firmly structured the palate features rich ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate flavours followed by some liquorice, cedary tobacco characters and spice. Dry, slightly chewy finish with firm solidly built tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrants, liquorice, a touch of tobacco and spicy cedar.
