2012 Spy Valley Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Lifted aromatics of dark cherries, meaty characters and anise arise from the glass overlaid by some toasty cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate features ripe dark cherry and meaty flavours followed by some toasty cedar and spice. Very fine grained tannins. Good power wave finishing with a long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, dried meats and earthy toasted cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years.
