2012 South Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose displays lifted dark cherry fruit aromas along with a touch of anise followed by some meaty spice showing excellent intensity. Light to medium weight the palate is very generously flavoured and quite fruity with mouthfilling ripe dark cherries, some anise, dried meats and spice. Good power wave with slightly dryish but relatively fine grained tannins. Long ripe dark cherry, meaty anise and spice aftertaste.
Drink over next 2-3 years.
