2012 Schild Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 12 months in French oak. Opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of stewed plum and ripe blackcurrant followed by some ripe dark cherries and spicy cedar. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses flavours of stewed plums and ripe blackcurrants with a background of spicy cedar. Soft round texture with velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of stewed plum, ripe blackcurrant and spicy cedary cigar box.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
