2012 Ryder Shiraz

Matured for 15 months in a combination of French and American oak. Deep dark red black tinged colour with very dark red hue. A little closed at present dark raspberry, liquorice and dark plum aromas emerge on the nose followed by a hint of spice. Youthful and joosy the palate has good body weight with flavours of inky black raspberry and liquorice over a background of toasty vanillin oak and spice. Soft velvet smooth tannins work in tandem with a supple mouthfeel. Aftertaste of toasty vanillin oak, liquorice and spice.

Cellar 2-3 years.
