2012 Ryder Riesling

Customers returning from holiday in Germany invariably remind us just how lucky we are to be able to purchase superb Rieslings at a fraction of a price of their European counterparts. This wine is a case in point. Brilliant water like colour with faint greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. Showing excellent intensity the nose offers up scents of lime and citrus intermixed with a hint of orange rind and some talc end notes. Mouthfilling palate flavours of lemon and lime are followed by a touch of talc with a crisp mineral infused finish. Excellent length with long lime, citrus and mineral aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 Years (2013-2017).
