2012 Rolf Binder Heysen Shiraz

Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Nosing exhibits plummy liquorice top notes followed by hints of mocha, vanillin oak and spice. Medium to full bodied with a soft plush mouthfeel the palate sports flavours of dark plums and liquorice over lightly smoked vanillin cedar with a spicy finish. Finely grained tannins, verging on velvet like. Spicy aftertaste of dark plums, liquorice, subtle dried fruits, lightly toasted vanillin cedar and earthy leather.
