2012 Red Claw Pinot Noir

Matured for 9 months in French oak. Semi translucent dark red colour with transparent dark red hue. The nose exhibits a perfumed bouquet of ripe dark cherries and dark plums alongside some anise and spicy cedar. Supplely textured the palate possesses good richness with powerful dark fruit flavours of dark plums, black cherries and anise over a background of spicy oak. Good power wave and impressive weight. Velvet smooth tannins with long spicy anise, dark plum and black cherry aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
