2012 Pindarie Bar Rosa Tempranillo Sangiovese Shiraz

A blend of 70% Tempranillo, 25% Sangiovese and 5% Shiraz. Very deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. The nose features aromatics of ripe dark cherries, dark plums and subtle liquorice over some leather and spice. Medium bodied the palate has good richness with flavours of dark cherries intermixed with some dark plum and a touch of liquorice followed by some dried meats and light spicy earth. Very fine grained tannins with a savoury medium to long spicy dark cherry, dried meats and spicy earth aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
