2012 Penny's Hill The Experiment Grenache

Deep dark red black tinged colour with very dark crimson red hue. The nose offers up lifted liquorice and black raspberry top notes followed by some confectionary and spicy dried meat characters. Medium to full bodied the palate has generous joosy like qualities featuring flavours of ripe black raspberries infused with liquorice followed by some meatiness with a spicy finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, black raspberries and spice. Trophy winner at the Sydney Royal Show.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
