2012 Peninsula Panorama Pinot Noir

Excellent value.
Semi translucent very dark crimson red colour with light red hue. Nosing presents aromas of ripe dark cherries, some anise and violets followed by spicy toasty oak. Light weight but generously flavoured the palate is filled with ripe dark cherry and anise with underlying toasty oak and spice. Good power wave with velvet smooth tannins. Long ripe dark cherry, anise and toasty oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2013-2016).
