2012 Pencarrow Pinot Noir

Good depth of colour displaying a dark red core and a dark crimson red hue. The nose displays fragrant aromas of spicy dark cherries and dark plums overlaid by a touch of anise with some toasty cedar in the background. Light to medium weight the palate sports generous dark cherry and dark plum flavours over some spicy toasty cedar and earth. Very fine grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, toasty cedar and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
