2012 Opawa Pinot Noir

Translucent dark crimson red colour with bright crimson red hue. Very perfumed the nose offers up lifted scents of dark cherries intermixed with violets followed by some plum, cedary anise and a hint of complexing stalkiness. Light to medium weight the palate is not quite as concentrated as the intensity of the nose would suggest delivering elegant but generous flavours of dark cherries, plum, cedar and spice. Soft very fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark cherries, cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
