2012 Nelson & Way Shiraz

Totally opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple black tinged hue. Ripe plum and blackberry aromas are followed by a hint of liquorice and some spicy toasty oak. Medium weight, slightly chalky and dry the palate lacks flesh and depth. Flavours of inky blackberry and plum are overlaid by some toasty oak and spice. Dry chalky tannins with moderate aftertaste of inky blackberry and spicy toasty oak.
Cellar 3-4 years.
