2012 Mountadam Vineyards Barossa Shiraz

Aged for 14 months in small French oak. Opaque black crimson colour with a crimson purple hue. Aromas of liquorice and black cherries are followed by some toasty vanillin oak, fennel and spice. Full bodied the palate has flavours of liquorice and aniseed intermixed with toasty vanillin oak followed by a spicy finish. Solid, slightly grippy tannins with an aftertaste of liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
