2012 Mollydooker Enchanted Path Shiraz Cabernet

A blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Magnificent colour – impenetrable inky black dark purple core with a very deep dark purple black hue. The nose provides a scented sniff of blackberry liqueur, liquorice and cassis all mixed together followed by some dark plum, vanillin oak and spice. Flamboyant and ultra rich with a dense concentrated texture the palate boasts a flavour profile of liquorice, ripe blackberry and black cherry that fully encompasses every corner of the palate with some underlying toasty oak and a very spicy peppery finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Very long aftertaste of liquorice, black cherry, toasty oak and spicy pepper.
