2012 Medhurst Steel's Hill Shiraz

Near opaque bright dark purple red colour with bright dark purple hue. On the nose youthful freshly crushed plum and black raspberry scents are followed by trace of liquorice, earth and blackpepper end notes. Light to medium weight and very youthful the palate possesses flavours of plum and dark cherries followed by some underlying light earth and spice. Dry finish with fine grained tannins and moderate aftertaste of plums, ripe dark cherries and earthy spice. A light and very elegant Shiraz without a great deal of depth or character.
