The fruit for this wine comes from Lethbridge’s Suma Park Vineyard located on the Bellarine Peninsula with yields only one tonne per acre. The hand-picked fruit was whole bunch pressed into 100% new French oak puncheons for fermentation & MLF by indigenous yeast on full solids. The wine components were then left in barrel on gross lees for a further 11 months prior to blending and bottling.

A Big Rich Creamy Chardonnay with a well balanced fresh finish.

Bright straw colour with a very pale straw hue. Nosing reveals an intense, rich aromatic profile of ripe peach intermixed with cashew, butterscotch, a hint of honeycomb, nougat, light toast and spice. Full and rich with creamy textural qualities that are counterpointed by some fresh acidity on the finish, the palate features mouthfilling flavours of cashew, honeycomb and nougat that are followed by some citrus and spicy oak. Long aftertaste of ripe peach, cashew and toast with light honeycomb overtones.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
