2012 La Follette Manchester Ridge Vineyards Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with pale gold edges and a watery hue. Rich aromatics of honeycomb, ripe peaches and butterscotch are followed by some cashew, toasty oak and spice. Rich with medium to full body weight and a soft creamy texture the palate is filled with butterscotch intermixed with ripe lemon peaches and honeycomb over some toasty oak, biscuity nougat and spice. Clean dry finish. Long lemon peach, honeycomb, butterscotch, biscuity nougat and lightly toasted spicy oak.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
