2012 Kopparossa Estate Shiraz

Matured for 2 years in new American and French oak. Totally opaque inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. The nose offers up aromas of liquorice and ripe blackberries intermixed with some dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak. Medium bodied with a plush textural feel and rich fruit the palate features generous flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark chocolate over a background of vanillin oak and spice. Very fine grained tannins with relatively bright acidity. Aftertaste of dark chocolate, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
