2012 Kangarilla Road Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black dark red colour with a very dark crimson red black tinged hue. Lifted aromas of liquorice and dark plum are followed by some subtle dark chocolate nuances, toasty vanillin oak and spice. Rich plushly textured flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark plums engulf the palate with underlying subtlety toasted vanillin oak and spice. Solid but very polished tannins serve only to enhance the wines open rich mouthfeel. Long blackberry, liquorice, subtle vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
