2012 Kalleske Old Vine Grenache

Matured in seasoned oak hogsheads for 18 months. Opaque dark red black tinged colour with dark red hue. The nose exhibits ripe dark raspberry top notes followed by some dark plum, a hint of liquorice some subtle earth and spice. Rich and voluptuously textured the palate possesses mouthfilling flavours of ripe dark raspberries, some liquorice, dark plums and spice. Soft very fine grained tannins with long spicy dark ripe raspberry, dark plum and liquorice aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
