2012 Juniper Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 15 months in French oak barriques. Opaque dark red black colour with a deep dark red hue. Fragrant blackcurrant scents laced with a touch of bay leaf sail from the glass over a back drop of black olives, cedary tobacco characters and spicy dried herbs. Medium to full bodied with abundant rich blackcurrant fruit, elements of dark mulberries infused with cedary tobacco characters, dried herbs and spice also make an appearance. The finely grained tannins firmly in control providing great structure. Excellent length with a long blackcurrant, mulberry, cedary tobacco, subtle bay leaf and spice aftertaste.
