Brilliant very pale straw colour with distinctive highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Pronounced lime and citrus aromas are overlaid by toast and oily kerosene like characters with some spice notes also present. Beginning to fill out, the palate is layered with generous lime, citrus and toasty kerosene flavours which have a rounded feel. Subtle wet steel and spice nuances ensue. Finishes dry with crisp acidity underpinning the tertiary characters. The aftertaste long and lingering.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 12%

Other Reviews….
A still very bright green-gold and with aromas of lime, quince and toast, this is travelling beautifully under screwcap. And while approachable now with its flavoursome, gently textured and very long palate, there is a fine vein of acidity running throughout the wine meaning that this will still be looking pristine 5 years from now. Drink by 2022.
