2012 Hollick Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black dark red colour with a deep dark red black hue. The nose displays aromas of liquorice and blackberries alongside a hint of black cherry with some following lightly toasted vanillin cedar and blackpepper. Medium to full bodied the palate features generous but structured flavours of liquorice and black cherry over some toasty oak with a peppery finish. Fine grained yet sturdy tannin structure. Aftertaste of liquorice, black cherry, toasty cedar and blackpepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
