2012 Hoggies Estate Shiraz

The fruit for this wine was sourced from Hoggies vineyards located in Yelta, Victoria and Coonawarra. Deep dark red colour with some black tinges around the edges and dark crimson red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of ripe dark plums, ripe cherries, subtle cedar and spice. Medium weight the palate has flavours of dark plums and dark cherries with light overtones of liquorice followed by some toasty oak and spice. Soft fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark ripe plums, subtle liquorice and spicy toasty oak.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
