2012 Greywacke Wild Sauvignon

Brilliant very pale straw water like colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. The nose shows excellent complexity with asparagus scents intermixing with some gooseberry, herbaceous grassy characters, light pencil shavings and dried herbs. The palate possesses superb length with a savoury textural like mouthfeel. Excellent concentration with flavours of gooseberry and asparagus overlaid by pencil shavings and spicy dried herbs. Clean dry finish with some refreshing acidity. Long aftertaste of gooseberry, asparagus, herbaceous pencil shaving like characters and spicy dried herbs.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2014-2017).
