2012 Greywacke Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. The nose displays aromas of fleshy white peach and citrus with a toasty overlay followed by some cashew, dried honey and light nougat. Medium bodied, the palate has an elegant light creamy mouthfeel featuring flavours of white peaches, nectarine, cashew, dried honey, toasty characters and spice. Clean dry finish. Medium to long aftertaste of nectarine, cashew, toast, faint nougat and spicy dried honey.
Cellar 4-5 years.
