2012 Frescobaldi Pater Sangiovese

Near opaque very dark red black colour with a dark crimson red hue. Aromas of ripe dark cherries are overlaid by cedar and some scorched earth characters with following spice end notes. Light in body the palate has a simple flavour profile of dark cherries, earth and spicy cedar. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, toasty cedar and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
