2012 Foster e Rocco Sangiovese

Deep dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a brick red hue. Aromas of dark cherries are followed by some earthy cedar, leather and spice notes. Medium bodied the palate features savoury dark cherry flavours over some cedar, lightly scorched earth and spice. Good richness with fine grained drying tannins on the finish. Vibrant acidity with a long ripe dark cherry, earth, cedary tobacco characters and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
