2012 Flying Fish Cabernet Merlot

Opaque dark red black colour with a deep dark red hue. Scents of mulberry and ripe blackcurrants emanate from the glass with a hint of liquorice also evident over some cedary tobacco characters and spice. Medium to full in weight the palate is quite ripe featuring rich blackcurrant, mulberry and a touch of dark chocolate followed by cedary tobacco characters and spice. Very fine grained tannins. Long ripe blackcurrant, dark chocolate, cigar box and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
