2012 Eden Road The Long Road Chardonnay

Matured for 12 months in French oak barriques of which 15% were new. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. Delicate white peach scents are intermixed with cashew followed by some nougat, light toast and spice. The palate has a moderately creamy texture with flavours of fresh white peach followed by cashew and light nougat with some stony mineral like characters on the vibrant dry finish. Aftertaste of delicate white peach, cashew and wet stone.
Cellar 3-4 years (2017-2018).
