2012 Dourthe No. 1 Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of citrus and herbaceous grassy characters are intermixed with asparagus followed by spicy cedar end notes. The palate features flavours of citrus and green bean characters overlaid by herbaceous grassy characters and spicy asparagus. Nice textural feel with a dry finish and refreshing acidity. Aftertaste of citrus, grassy herbaceous characters, asparagus and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
