2012 Darley The Colt Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose offers up aromas of ripe dark cherries, black plum and a touch of anise followed by smoky oak and spice. Medium bodied and quite fleshy in texture the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries and plums with a touch of anise also present over toasty oak and a spicy finish. Very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, toasty oak, subtle anise and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
