2012 Curly Flat Chardonnay

A Spectacular Chardonnay that could easily be mistaken for White Burgundy.

Brilliant straw colour with a watery hue. Complex aromas of cashew, biscuit, waxy dried honey characters and delicate peach evolve on the nose followed by some fig and spicy oak. Rich and creamy in texture the palate takes it up a notch in terms of complexity and depth delivering a Burgundian like performance with flavours of cashew, dried honey and delicate white peach at play over a background of biscuity oak, light nougat and spice. Clean dry finish. Long persistent aftertaste of cashew infused with white peach, biscuity oak, dried honey, light nougat and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
