2012 Credaro Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Matured for 8 months in lees in both new and seasoned French oak barriques. Brilliant water like colour with a greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. The nose displays some grassy asparagus top notes followed by some unripe gooseberry, capsicum and dried herbs. Very Graves like in style and showing good textural qualities the palate has flavours of grassy unripe gooseberry, asparagus and capsicum followed by some subtle pencil shavings and citrus flavours on the dry finish. Aftertaste of grassy unripe gooseberry, asparagus, subtle capsicum and pencil shavings.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2013-2015).
