2012 Clarence Hill Reserve Cabernet

Totally opaque black purple colour with a deep dark purple red hue. The nose is a touch restrained slowly revealing aromas of black olives and blackcurrant followed by some cedary tobacco characters, faint earth and spice. The palate is a little more forward than the nose whilst still being tightly structured. Medium to full bodied the palate has flavours of blackcurrants interlaced with black olives followed by some toasty cigar box characters and spice. Dry finish with solid firmly built tannins. Chewy aftertaste of blackcurrant, black olives, cigar box and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
