2012 Chateau Pegau Cuvee Malcura Cotes du Rhone

Opaque black crimson colour with dark crimson red hue. Ripe black cherry scents open the noses account followed by some black raspberry, incense, meatiness and spice. Medium weight the palate has generous black cherry and black raspberry flavours followed by a touch of liquorice over a meaty background with some spice on the back palate. Chewy finish with solid tannin structure. Aftertaste of black cherry, subtle liquorice, dried meats and spice.
