2012 Cape Mentelle Marmaduke Shiraz

Deep dark red purple colour with bright youthful purple hue. The nose displays inky dark cherry, meaty cedar and pepper aromas. Medium weight the palate has inky dark cherry and blackberry flavours followed by some meatiness and subtle blackpepper. Chewy mouthfeel with dry slightly chalky tannins cutting the finish short. Aftertaste of inky dark cherries, dried meats and subtle blackpepper.
