2012 Cape Mentelle Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge on the outskirts and a watery hue. Delicate white peach scents are intermixed with some biscuity cashew, citrus and light toast. Light to medium weight palate flavours of delicate white peach and citrus are to the fore followed by some cashew, light nougat and some spicy toasted oak. Light elegant mouthfeel with well balanced acidity and a clean dry finish. Aftertaste of white peach, cashew, citrusy nougat and light toasty oak.
