2012 Brokenwood Indigo Vineyard Chardonnay

Barrel fermented with only one third being new oak. Brilliant very pale straw colour, almost water like with a faint greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. The nose exhibits distinctive white peach top notes followed by some nougat, cashew and spice. Light weight with a soft elegant texture the palate has subtle flavours of white peach, citrus, cashew, some toastiness and spice. Clean dry finish with aftertaste of white peach, citrus and cashew.
Cellar 3-4 years.
