2012 Brini Sebastian Shiraz

Matured in French and American oak for 18 months. Outstanding depth of colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core and deep dark red black hue. Intense liquorice top notes jump out of the glass over dark chocolate, blackberry, vanillin oak and spicy mocha aromas. A perfect marriage of concentration, fruit richness and power, yet with an air of refinement that sets it apart from many of its peers. Mouthfilling flavours of liquorice, blackberries and dark chocolate are sent spiralling across the palate with following nuances of vanillin oak, mocha and spice. Supple generous mouthfeel with velvety tannins. Outstanding length with a long finish of liquorice, ripe blackberries, dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice.
