2012 Best's Great Western Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black dark red colour with dark purple hue. The nose displays youthful scents of inky blackcurrant and mulberry over some cedar, tobacco leaf, bay leaf and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is still very young but has plenty of potential. Good structure with an elegant richness of fruit displaying inky blackcurrant and mulberry flavours followed by some earthy cedar, light tobacco and spice. Dry slightly grippy tannins provide an excellent framework and chewy finish. Long blackcurrant, mulberry, cedar and spicy tobacco leaf aftertaste. A youthful Cabernet with plenty of potential.
