Semi translucent crimson red colour with a light crimson hue. Lifted scents of dark cherries intermixed with hints of sour cherries and faint anise arise from the glass accompanied by meaty nuances and spicy cedar. Light weight with a supple mouthfeel and excellent power the palate delivers moreish flavours of dark cherries intermixed with some fresh strawberry and sour cherries over some meaty characters and spicy cedar. Good fresh acidity with velvet smooth tannins. Long very persistent aftertaste of dark and sour cherries, meaty characters and spicy cedar.

Other Reviews….
Clear, bright colour; a complex, fragrant, gently spicy bouquet leads into an elegant palate with juicy flavours on one side, more savoury, foresty notes on the other, joining together on the long, complex finish. Drink by 2025.
