2012 Baddaginnie Run Shiraz

Matured for 18 months in French and American oak. Opaque dark purple black colour with a dark purple hue. Nosing reveals aromas of liquorice intermixed with black cherries followed by some dark plum, toasty oak and blackpepper. Medum weight, elegantly textured and quite savoury the palate has flavours of dark plum and dark cherries over a touch of liquorice and smoky oak. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark plum, liquorice and smoky oak.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
