2012 Baddaginnie Run Merlot

Matured for 18 months in a combination of French and American oak. Deep dark red colour with a tinge of black on the edges and a bright dark crimson hue. The nose displays mulberry and dark cherry aromas over some cedar and light tobacco. Light to medium weight with a soft rounded mouthfeel the palate reflects the nose with flavours of mulberries, dark cherries, cedar and light tobacco. Very fine grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of mulberries, dark cherries and cedary tobacco.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
