2012 Arboleda Cabernet Sauvignon

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 31% of which were new, a small percentage of Cabernet Franc (5%) was included to complement the structure and heighten aromatic complexity of the wine.

Opaque black dark crimson red colour with a deep dark crimson red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and black cherry are overlaid by tobacco leaf characters with some cedar and spice background notes. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with beautifully textured ripe blackcurrant and black cherry fruits followed by tobacco, cedar and spice with the tobacco characters not being as prominent as they are on the nose. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent richness and depth finishing with a long savoury aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, black cherries, cedary tobacco and spice. Very Limited Stocks.
